ARL e-Book accepts customer bookings as the next step after schedule and quote is selected and accepted by customer. Bookings are automatically offered for all corridors defined in ARL e-Schedule with a price defined in ARL e-Quote and space available as defined in ARL e-Book. Just define the following:
- set booking closing time for door-door bookings (to allow sufficient time for pick-up)
- define booking number prefix (remaining booking number is automatically generated)
- define contents and layout of e-mail booking confirmation to customer
- define inhouse prompting in case of bookings
- publish booking functionality on your own website or use ARL e-Book Platform portal
If you manage allocation or capacity, also:
- define alternative products; for example, 1x40DRY = 2x20DRY
- define the capacity or allocation on services;
- specify the alternative product replacement within the capacity on transport assets; for example, 25 of 40x20 can be replaced.
and your booking self-service engine is available on the net!
