The e-Business seminar is a facilitated session enabling you to add self-service e-Business to your own corporate web-site. The self-service encompasses transportation schedules, including feeder & rail connections, warehouse pick-up & delivery services, online freight quotes with all-in transport rates, or separate basis rates with added surcharges, online bookings with customer e-mail confirmation customized to your own company standards, naming and colours.
- liner agents: promote own website schedule, freight quote online inquiry and self-service bookings irrespectively of principals e-business readiness, offer multiple principals' services to own customer base, transfer bookings electronically to principals and own back-office system without retyping
- NVOCCs: re-market partner shipping lines services -selected corridors- to own customer base promoting online schedule, freight quote inquiries and self-service bookings, co-market multiple lines services possibly differentiating rates according to service level, brand and market own service network, possibly combining lines and own feeder service offerings, transfer bookings electronically to principals and own back-office system without retyping
- FCL/LCL consolidators, forwarders & logistics providers: supplement partner lines/NVOCCs port-port offerings with own pick-up and delivery services, offer customers door-door online schedule schedule enquiry on own website plus online freight quote inquiry and self-service bookings. market (payable) transport value-adds to customer base as an integral part of customer offerings, like customs clearance, insurance, notification and alert, and documentation services.
Finally the participants will learn how to extract data from the e-Yield platform for electronic re-use, f.ex. booking list, in-house finance/ERP system, automated and electronic shipping line booking.
The self-service setup will make use of arl-shipping.com e-Yield self-service modules, and subject to sign-up to arl-shipping.com (paid subscription and usage fees) the modules set up during the seminars can be added to the transport providers own web-site immediately after the end of CLC conference, and the signed up transport provider will get access to the e-Yield back-office for continuous customization and set up.
