Manage crane availability for operations or maintenance, quay side and yard
ARL Crane Availability tool manage the time slots your quay and yard cranes are available for operations, and operationally non-available timeslots due to maintenance or other reasons.
The ARL Crane Availability support your long term planning (proforma), short term planning (pre-operations), and track and manage the handover from operations to engineering, and later back to operations. Crane availability measure performance and provide foundation for historic reporting and KPIs on the planned and actual availability and non-availability hours.
Crane Availability Light plan time slots, when individual cranes are availabile for operations, and measures the planned availability. Together with arl-space.com reporting features, weekly and monthly availability hours and ratios are calculated.
The standard edition of Crane Availability adds features for hand-over of crane between operations and maintenance, including access and update via a mobile device in the field.
Crane Availability Standard additionally measures actual handover and availability compared to plan, i.e. detecting delays and documenting timely handover both from operations and back to operations from engineering or other departments.
Crane Availability Full adds proforma (long term) planning, and introduces clustering of cranes with similar availability/ unavailability profiles. Auto planning can be done in accordance with maintenance (unavailibility) and operational (availability) profiles, and numerous additional performance measurements are added. Tracking of unscheduled crane stoppages can be done.
Whilst Crane Availability comes with standard API/interface to ARL's Berth Planner, Proforma Planner and RTG Dispatcher, custom API/interfaces may be added for other apps.

Can i use Crane Availability Tool only for quay cranes?
Crane Availability is for all terminal crane types; quay cranes on rail or tired/free moving, yard cranes (RMGs, RTGs), straddle carriers, empty handlers and other crane types.
Does Crane Availability Tool Interface with other tools?
Crane Availability Tool is a stand-alone tool, which will work without any interface. The user interface of Crane Availability Tool, however, include standard export features, so f.ex. planned crane unavailability can be extracted for re-use in a maintenance system.
Additionally standard APIs are available for ARL's Berthing Planner, Berth Proforma and RTG Planner tools, securing that actual crane deployment and assignments are only done with available cranes..
