Measure handling performance of vessel calls @terminal

Measure vessel call performance of the terminal call upon vessel departure.

Performance measurements are generated automatically from the completed operations reflected in the TOS (terminal operating system) and possibly supporting systems.

Performance measurements cannot be tampered with: Credible measurements are secured by tapping into the operational updates from the TOS -manual adjustments are not possible. 

The Call Performance platform is a hosted app, which you access online using secure personal credentials. The Call Performance app is using the ARL Agent to capture relevant data in the TOS automatically.

Call Performance, Light

A couple of key performance measures allowing you to get started with automatic & online measuring of your shifts' performance, and to share the performance measurements with external stakeholders.

Includes performance measurements for Vessel-Net-Moves-Per-Hour, VNMPH and Number of Active Yard Blocks.

VNMPH, vessel-net-moves-per-hour is vessel productivity from first-move-first-crane until last-move-last-crane.

Call Performance, Cargo Handling

Provide a full range of call performance measurenets, primarily cargo handling and quay crane performance measurements like Hourly Vessel Discharge and Load Moves, Number of Container Moves Per Container Operator, Weight Per Container Operator, Bay Distribution, Hourly number of Working Cranes, Crane Gross Productivity, Crane Imbalance and more.

Call Performance, Berthing

A set of advanced performance measurements focusing on the vessel berthing and lashing activities, as well as supplementing with additional yard and gate performance measurements.

Note than some of the measurements may require supporting execution management systems to the TOS.

Partner collaboration via

The performance measurements are automatically made available on the terminal's account, providing a textual interface for accessing performance data and plugging into's collaborative powers, providing amongst others:

  • share performance measurement with selected partners
  • filter shared performance data context, f.ex. by shipping line or service
  • filter shared performance data richness, f.ex. selecting/ deselecting the shared elements of performance data
  • notify stakeholders on their "wall", when new measurements are available
  • message stakeholders by email, when new measurements are available
  • publish automatically in a public web-site widget
  • publish automatically in terminals corporate facebook or twitter page

Using the performance EDIFACT RPFREP app, you, and your internal or external partner on collaborative platform can generate a standard EDIFACT RPFREP EDI message to an inhouse business intelligence platform, providing standardized performance data for easy re-processing.


What is starting price?

EUR 75 per month plus EUR 0,50 per vessel call.

What do I need to do to get started?

You need to sign-up on the sign-up page and select the features you require. Please provide an IT contact person, who can assist the ARL-team with deploying the TOS-reader..

When can i start?

As soon as you have signed up, you will receive an invoice with first 3 months' subscription fee for the selected features, and the ARL-team will start coordinating the TOS-reader installation with your technical contact person. When your payment is received, the TOS-reader will be installed and you will get login to the hosted platform, and receive performance measurements right away.
